On the website of The Compact you can download a copy of The Funding Code which was originally published in 2000, revised and republished in 2005. The Code seeks to improve funding and procurement relationships, be to the mutual advantage of the funder and funded, and safeguard the sector’s independence. The Code is for everyone in England involved in distributing, seeking or receiving public funds. The intention is to deliver value for public money by securing the best possible outcomes for all parties, the funder and the voluntary and community sector.
